How do you help really bad children?

06 Jun

So I live with this woman who’s a bipolar mother of two young girls. The mother doesn’t take mediciation. But the girls are hell on earth, they cry every five seconds, whine, complain, scream and the mother just ignores them or loudly yells at them and tells them she’ll give them a reason to cry when they are already crying and screaming. I can’t ever get any sleep and I feel bad for those poor girls. They can be great kids when they’re happy but 99.9% of the time they are pissy, bad, whinny, bratty and sad girls…. I fear somehow they will be bipolar too. My boyfriend has argued with the woman but she just tells them they are only 5 and 7 and he should leave them alone….

Tell them you’ll spank them if they don’t start to behave… give them several chances since they will most likely “test the waters” and attempt to call out a bluff.

If that doesn’t work, then stick to your guns.. warn them first.. then when its gone too far, sit her down, explain why you’re going to spank her, then do it!

People, like animals, are able to associate/link behaviors with physical consequences.

Do something good = reward, hugs, kisses, affection
Do something bad = pain(through spanking), punishment, take away favorite toy.

Trust me.. this works. (just don’t go overboard on the spanking… there’s a fine line between discipline and abuse)

You need to call child services. This woman is emotionally and mentallydamaging those little girls. This is an environment that no child should endure.
